Dancing is an excellent way to stay active, make friends, and build confidence. The Cucalitos Community is centered around respect, fun, and creativity. We learn so much more than just dancing! Our Kids Dance Program caters to dancers ages 5-14. No experience necessary!

Kid’s Dance Programs

Fall Kids Program – This seasonal dance program introduces children to foundational dance techniques and creative movement, helping them develop rhythm and teamwork while having fun while learning Salsa, Bachata, and Hip-Hop styles.. Classes run weekly throughout the Fall and Winter, September-December, culminating in a joyful Holiday showcase for family and friends.

When: Saturdays, 12-2PM
Spring Kids Program – The Spring dance program blends technique, musicality, and expression, offering structured yet playful classes to keep kids engaged while learning Salsa, Bachata, and Hip-Hop styles. Dancers progress in skill while building confidence and preparing for an end-of-season performance. Classes run weekly January-June, culminating in an end of the year showcase for family, friends, and loved ones.

When: Saturdays, 12-2PM
Competitive Salsa, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary Teams-Our Competitive Dance Teams blend various dance styles, technique, musicality, and expression- allowing dancers to stay engaged through creative movement. Dancers will prepare for the stage and build confidence as they prepare for their competitive performances as well as their end-of-season performances. Classes run weekly September-June, culminating in an end of the year showcase for family, friends, and loved ones alongside 2 seasonal dance competitions. Acceptance into this team is by audition only and is a full year commitment! Dancers should have at least 1 year of dance experience (in any style!) to audition for these teams.

Summer Dance Camp. Our summer dance camp keeps kids active with exciting choreography, games, and dance-based activities in a vibrant and supportive setting. Whether beginners or experienced dancers, children will immerse themselves in different dance styles, build confidence, and make new friends while enjoying a fun-filled camp experience.
Kids Day Camps – One-day dance camps filled with movement, creativity, and fun, perfect for school holidays or special occasions. Each camp day includes dance instruction, group activities, and interactive games to keep kids inspired and engaged
Midwinter Recess Day Camp – A dynamic holiday camp where kids stay active during winter break, exploring dance styles, creative movement, and fun team activities. Each day includes engaging choreography, games, and opportunities for self-expression.
